Begin your adventure at the legendary Gateway Arch, where you’ll enjoy a tram ride to the top for breathtaking views of the city and the Mississippi River. Then, watch Monument to a Dream before exploring the newly remodeled, state-of-the-art Arch Museum.

After your morning of exploration, enjoy lunch downtown at Sqwires Restaurant, featuring your choice of a pre-selected plated entrée.

This afternoon, go behind the scenes at the Anheuser-Busch brewery with the Day Fresh Tour. Follow the journey of a beer from seed to sip, beginning with a visit to the famous Clydesdale paddock and stables. Continue to the Beechwood Aging Cellar, historic Brewhouse, and BEVO packaging facility to discover the craftsmanship and traditions behind one of America’s most iconic beers. From the soaring Gateway Arch to the rich traditions of St. Louis brewing, this exciting day offers a memorable taste of the history, innovation, and spirit of the Gateway City!

         Rend Lake Main Campus at 7:00am; return by 6:00pm

         Mt. Vernon MarketPlace at 7:30am; return by 5:30pm

Students will learn how to draw, tape, and paint their chosen quilt pattern on a 10" wood square. The student will choose their pattern based on difficulty level. Your barn quilt will be finished and ready to hang at the end of the class.

Grab a paintbrush and spend an evening getting creative! Join us for Paint Like Bob Ross with Brad Mullins, a Certified Ross Instructor who has been sharing the joy of painting with people all across Illinois and Indiana.Brad trained with Bob Ross Incorporated to learn the techniques behind Bob Ross' iconic landscapes, and now he loves helping others discover that anyone can paint. Whether you're a complete beginner or you've painted before, Brad will guide you through the process step by step. Best of all, all of the Bob Ross painting supplies are provided, so you can simply come ready to have fun.

Cost: $65

 Barre is a low-impact workout that will have you sweating and toning your entire body. Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.

Bring your entire family for a fascinating evening of stargazing. Rend Lake College instructor, Greg Hollmann, will point out the bright stars and constellations as he captures your attention with stories of ancient mythology and modern science as it relates to the night sky. Participants will get the opportunity to view the Geminids meteor shower. If bad weather threatens, the instructor will choose an alternative date. Pre-registration is required.
