Blastoff!
with Greg Hollmann

Turn an ordinary summer into another adventure while attending this ultimate science camp. Participants will build, decorate, and launch their own model rockets that reach heights up to 1000 feet. In addition to building and launching the rockets, participants will view videos produced by NASA which highlight our explorations on other planets, discuss the possibility of life beyond Earth, and participate in activities that bring the solar system to scale. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to stimulate and educate young minds!
Outdoor Life

Grades 4-6
If you like being outside, this is the camp for you! Join Park Rangers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and participate in some basic outdoor camping skills. Each day will be filled with fun activities that will help you feel more comfortable in the outdoors. We will focus on what you should do if you get “lost” in the woods, identify some of the things that you should and should not be afraid of, and signal for help. We will set up the perfect campsite and discover the items you will need if spending the night in the woods. Try your hand at geocaching (treasure hunting with a GPS) and navi-gating with a compass and a map, tying knots, and making a para-cord bracelet to take home. On the final day of camp we will play old fashion lawn games and cook our lunch over a campfire. Yum!
