Students are introduced to mining as it exists in the world today.  Emphasis is placed on creating a true and relatively complete picture of the mining industry with special concentration on the basics of practical mining from the viewpoint of health and safety. New Miner Combo is surface and underground.

This course is designed to be offered to only qualified individuals for the purpose of training him or her on the mandated requirements set forth by the State of Illinois.
